Morley Beer Festival & Family Fun Day

food & drink

We love our Norfolk breweries. They produce wonderful real ales and ciders with reduced environmental impact due to their locality, contribute so much to the local economy, use locally grown ingredients and provide employment opportunities, directly and indirectly, for hundreds of local folk. We will have a fantastic selection of over 20 real ales and lots of ciders for you to enjoy. Keep up to date with all of the breweries joining us at the festival this year and be the first to find out by following our socials!

Wolf Brewery

Wolf Brewery was founded in September 1995 on the old Gaymers Cider site in Attleborough. The brewery was founded on the principle of producing high quality real ales made with the finest local ingredients. The business grew steadily and, in 2005, the brewery was sold to the Edwards Family who invested in their own bespoke build brewery in the Heart of Norfolk at Decoy Farm, Besthorpe in Autumn 2013.

The water used throughout the brewery is drawn from an on-site chalk based well. The locally malted barley comes from throughout Norfolk and when the goodness is extracted from the malted cereal, cattle on a neighbouring farm benefit from the spent brewers grains. Their ingredients, recipes and our methods are all local – believing that East Anglia is the home of quality brewing!

The proof of all this is that Wolf’s Sirius Dog Star is the current Overall Champion cask beer of Britain – as selected by independent industry experts at SIBA’s recent national award ceremony. Wolf is now the only working brewery in Britain to have won this, the most prestigious brewing award, more than once.

Their philosophy is simple, produce the beer they want to drink to the best standard possible. By doing this they hope the beer speaks for itself and that you will enjoy it as much they do.
