Please do not bring your own food and drink as there are plenty of bars and street food stalls to provide this for you and we are raising money for our charities by making a small profit on the food and drink, all of which is for sale at very reasonable prices. We have an array of fantastic street food vendors who we have handpicked to join us to serve you delicious, tasty food – check out the Food & Drink page for all the details.
Bags will be checked on the gate, any food or drink found will be placed securely for you to collect after the event. NO ALCOHOL is permitted. We run a three-bin system at the festival, which means every bin station will be formed by 3 bins:
COMPOST: When you buy food from the traders, everything your food comes in is compostable so plates, cutlery and napkins can be placed in the compost bins along with the food scraps. Please make sure NO PLASTIC goes into the compost.
RECYCLE: Plastic bottles, aluminium cans, newspapers, magazines and clean and dry cardboard.
GENERAL WASTE: There should be minimal left over that goes into General Waste.
The Morley Agricultural Foundation sponsor our eco-friendly pint tumblers, bamboo fibre re-usable cups and wooden catering disposables helping us to reduce the plastics contaminating land and sea. They are a local charity that funds and hosts agricultural research and education. Visit their website to find out more.
